“DOCUMENTARY STORIES THAT SPARK CHANGE”
Green Amber Media is an independent Canadian film studio founded by journalist-turned-filmmaker Natalia Gaisenok. Driven by a passion for storytelling and social justice, we create intimate, character-driven documentaries that explore resilience, identity, and the voices of those often unheard. Every film begins with a deep personal connection—and a belief in cinema’s power to inspire change.

Star in the Box
Former teacher, martial arts sensei, and stand-up comic Marilina uses every skill she has to support her twice-exceptional (2e) son, Julien. Gifted yet neurodivergent, Julien represents a growing population of children whose unique potential is often misunderstood.
This deeply personal feature documentary follows their journey—and others like them—while raising urgent questions about inclusive education, mental health, and what it truly means to thrive.
